In my room
on the 21st of August, 2012 at 7:54pm, while meditating I stumbled upon this thought which brought tears down my eyes and I decided to share it.
People come
into our lives and go, but what remains with them is how well you impacted
their lives either positively or negatively. I can remember meeting people while
in my nursery school/ primary school, while I progressed I lost some contacts.
Went over to secondary school, met new group of friends but still progressed to
the university. A lot of people pass through our lives, how much of attention
do we give them.
Parents how
much do you know about your children? You think it’s all about just providing
for them? Children have feelings which they want to express to someone. If you
aren’t there for them, they feel abandoned. Leaders, how much do you know about
your followers? Are you just concerned about results that you neglect how your
followers feel. You call people your friends, how much do you know about them? Are you just thinking of gain?
Let’s all
wake up from this attitude of focusing on us. So many people need someone in
their lives who could just hear them out, someone who could just make them feel
important. You just could be that person to save ones life today. You just have this one life to live, look out for those around you
that are hurting and touch their lives. Let there be a shift from ourselves to
others. Let it start from you.
